Milgard WoodClad windows are truly the best of all worlds. With this unique product, Milgard has joined the strength and energy advantages of fiberglass with the warmth and appeal offered by wood. Inside your home, the beauty of clear, vertical grain Douglas fir warms interiors, for a look you just can’t find in an ordinary pine window.
The interior is stainable, paintable and can be refinished. Outside, your investment is protected from the harsher side of mother nature. Unlike vinyl cladding, fiberglass has an extremely low expansion and contraction rate. Milgard Woodclad Windows are available in a variety of styles.
Bay or Bow Windows
WoodClad bay windows are created from three separate windows joined at 45 degree angles. WoodClad bow windows feature multiple windows joined at 13 degree angles. Flanker windows are often vented. Bay and bow windows require additional support from below.
Awning windows feature hinges on the top of the vent panel and swing outward from the bottom.
Designed as an inside slider, the stationary and vent panels are equal in size for the vent to open completely. Horizontal sliding windows can be used alone or in tandem with radius, gable or picture windows for vent below and above configurations.
WoodClad picture windows are available in custom sizes to match almost any design, either new or retrofit.
Casement windows feature hinges on the right or left side of the vent panel and swing outward.
